Motul X-cess Gen 2 Is the new Standard for Turbocharged GDI Engines! 5w40 is recommended by Hyundai.

We also decided to go with a WIX XP Oil filter. The OEM Hyundai one is a good filter no doubt, but we weight both filters and cut them apart, the WIX XP is a much thicker filter and is significantly heavier, which proves its built tough! Also the WIX XP Filter is made to OEM Spec, meaning it has anti drain back valve so we do not lose oil pressure on cold start! The Hyundai OEM Filter costs us less money, if we thought it was a better filter we would include it with this kit, however we believe this is the best filter for our platform.

1x5L Jug of Motul X-cess Gen2 5w40 (more than enough to do an oil change, will be left with .5 to .75 of a L left, and these are spill proof bottles even after reopening, so its the perfect amount to keep in the trunk for a rain day where you forget to do a oil change and your oil level has dropped a little)
